Pickup Overview
The Metal Machine is the first IronGear pickup specifically designed for metal — gut-churning bottom end, a roaring midrange, and smooth highs.
It screams with precision, clarity and power, and cuts through high-gain settings with amazing definition. Featuring a Y30 ceramic magnet and a bridge wound to 21 kΩ, the Metal Machine packs a serious punch — works brilliantly for both standard and drop-tunings.
Available with Black or White coils, paired with Black or Chrome bobbins.

"Absolutely the most powerful passive pickup I've ever played, but somehow still musical. Made my Ibanez sound like a different guitar." — Ibanez RGR owner
"Built for metal and it shows — gut-churning bottom end, mid-range roar, smooth highs. The clarity at high gain is what surprised me." — Metal player
"Through a 5150 the Metal Machine just chugs and chugs. The cleanest 21 kΩ I've ever heard." — Metal session player
