Pickup Overview
The same specifications as the fabulous Steam Hammer — but with massive hex-head polepieces that focus maximum magnetic flux directly under the strings.
That extra punch transforms the bass performance and makes the Hammer Head perfect for insane bends and down-tuned riffing. We've designed it to drive the front end of your amp into really useable overdrive tones while retaining enough clarity for crisp cleans from both bridge and neck positions.
Available with Black or White open coils.

What Players Are Saying
"Hello, I just wanted to drop ya a line to let you know how amazed and happy I am with the bridge and neck Hammer Head pickups I recently purchased. I fitted both humbuckers to my Jackson Dinky — the difference in tone and power was a joy to behold. Never again will I go back to using Seymour Duncan pups." — Paul, Chesterfield
"Hammer Heads — exactly what I wanted: brutal, controlled and articulate. They drove my Marshall into glorious overdrive and still cleaned up beautifully on the volume roll-back." — BC Rich Bitch player
"I fitted the Hammer Heads into a project superstrat. With the gain up they are unstoppable — pinch harmonics fly off the strings, and the down-tuned riffs are tight and clean." — Tom, Telford
"The hex-head polepieces really do something — there's a focus and bite to the bass that the regular humbuckers don't have. Made my drop-tuned Ibanez sound like a different guitar." — Project guitar build
